We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Worker. As a key member of our Out of Home Care program, you will play a vital role in supporting the needs of children and young people.

Your primary responsibility will be to provide trauma-informed care and support to our clients, helping them heal, grow, and build a brighter future. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people and contribute to creating positive outcomes for them.

  • Job Description:
  • Provide day-to-day care and support for children and young people.
  • Help with personal care, education, social activities, and independent living skills.
  • Create a safe, stable, and nurturing home environment.
  • Offer trauma-informed and positive behavior support when challenges arise.
  • Encourage connections with family, culture, and community.
  • Work closely with a supportive team to ensure the best outcomes for young people.
  • Requirements:
  • A genuine passion for supporting children and young people.
  • Availability for rotating shifts (mornings, afternoons, weekends & overnights).
  • Adaptability, resilience, and problem-solving skills.
  • No prior experience required—just a commitment to learning.
  • What You Need to Get Started:
  • A Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one).
  • An NDIS Workers Screening Check.
  • A National Police Check (we'll complete this for successful applicants).
  • A valid open driver's license.
  • A Certificate IV in Youth Work, Child & Family, or Community Services (or willingness to enroll—we can connect you with government-funded training options).
