About the Job

As a Pipe Testing Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and safety of our piping systems. This position involves conducting rigorous testing, inspections, mechanical equipment maintenance, and setup to meet industry standards and customer requirements.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections and tests.
  • Organize assembly, changeover, inspection, and maintenance of equipment and plant.
  • Select tools and equipment.
  • Operate and maintain specialized testing equipment to collect accurate data on pipe performance.
  • Analyze test results and generate detailed reports.
  • Ensure products meet our quality assurance standards.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and resolve any issues or defects in the manufacturing process.
  • Ensure all testing procedures adhere to relevant safety regulations and quality control protocols.
  • Production planning & control.


Requirements:

  • Formal qualifications in a technical or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a pipe testing, plastic extrusion, or quality assurance role within the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient knowledge of testing techniques and the ability to interpret test results.
  • Competent in setting up and maintaining specialized equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address any quality issues.
  • Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the production team and present findings.
