**Our Mission and Values**
We are a comprehensive 7-12 campus in Western Sydney on the land of the Dharug people. We share our site with a local public school and preschool, giving us a family oriented, community atmosphere and culture. Our current enrolment is 670, which has been steadily growing over the last five years.
About 23% of our students are Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and approximately 40% of students are Pasifika.
Our school embeds Positive Behaviour for Learning and builds its identity and sense of community on the core values of Responsibility, Learning and Respect. This is complemented with our commitment to Choice Theory as a guiding principle.
All teaching and learning programs, and all wellbeing initiatives, are designed to reinforce these values and support students in their social, personal and academic growth.
Staff are committed to working together as a cohesive and collaborative team.
**The Role**
Chosen candidates will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with various learning needs. They must have the capacity to provide specialist assistance to students in regular classes with additional learning and support needs and their teachers.
Candidates should also possess the ability to collaboratively plan, implement, monitor and evaluate personalised learning and support plans for students with a range of learning needs that support improved educational outcomes.
Additionally, they need to demonstrate their ability to implement differentiated, evidence-based teaching practices in literacy and numeracy ensuring success for all students.
Highly developed interpersonal, administration, communication and organisational skills are essential to build positive relationships with teachers, school support staff, students and parents.
