FCR Risk Assessment Lead

As a key member of our Financial Crime Risk (FCR) team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and assessing the financial crime risks across the Group. You will lead the development of methodologies for delivering assessments of financial crime risk, focusing on enterprise, customer, product, channel, and jurisdiction levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain a robust framework for identifying, assessing, and managing financial crime risks.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure new and emerging risks are captured, assessed, and incorporated into existing assessments.
  • Facilitate ongoing review and validation of assessment frameworks to guarantee their adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Develop a clear framework for assessing and managing financial crime typology information to inform the identification, detection, and management of risks in FCR and across the Group.

This is a permanent full-time position offering flexible work options. We encourage collaboration and alignment, with a focus on seeing the bigger picture.

Requirements
  • Proven expertise in managing financial crime risk frameworks, including best practice innovative enterprise risk assessments.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
  • Experience in financial crime governance and/or advisory services at a domestic or international financial institution.
  • Best practice technical expertise in financial crime risk assessments.

While not essential, relevant qualifications such as a Bachelor's degree or above in a relevant field and industry certifications like ACAMs or AFCS would be advantageous.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, along with strong attention to detail, are required for this role. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial crime risk management principles and practices.
