We are seeking a skilled Driver Trainer/Assessor to join our Sydney Metro team. As a key member of our NSW Boral Concrete business, you will play a crucial role in promoting Agitator driver theoretical and applied driving and operational skills.

About the Role:

  • Plan and deliver training activities that enhance driver knowledge and competence.
  • Communicate with drivers, operational staff, and management to identify training needs and develop strategies for skill development.
  • Conduct certificate-level on-the-job technical and knowledge-based training and assessment, ensuring compliance with Boral RTO and regulatory requirements.
  • Record training events and upload evidence to Boral's Learning Management System.
  • Facilitate line manager support with training needs and employee development, communicating progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Complete administration functions for employees commencing certificate-level training programs and maintain training documentation.
  • Monitor and provide feedback to learners throughout the training program.
  • Assist in developing, reviewing, and updating training materials, SOPs, and SWMS.

What We're Looking For:

  • Cert IV Trainer and Assessor (or completion as soon as possible)
  • Valid driver's license (HR minimum)
  • 3 years' industry experience in heavy vehicle training and assessing
  • Knowledge of Road Rules and heavy vehicle national law requirements for drivers and Chain of Responsibility
  • Ability to travel within NSW for training and assessment
  • Willingness to conduct night shifts as required
