Job Overview

Indigenous Engagement Specialist

This position involves driving the implementation of the department's Innovate Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to achieve its strategic goals through sustainable actions, strong partnerships, and greater cultural understanding.

The ideal candidate will possess a demonstrated knowledge of and respect for First Nations cultures, histories, and perspectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Building relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Improving delivery of outcomes across the NSW Government through effective communication and collaboration
  • Contribution to embedding principles of reconciliation into day-to-day work
