Position Overview

The ICT Security Specialist plays a crucial role in safeguarding and enhancing the information systems of the organization. This position involves identifying and mitigating security vulnerabilities while collaborating with the ICT team to manage the daily operations of existing security measures.

  • Engage in the planning and design of comprehensive security frameworks, guided by the Cyber & Information Security Manager, as necessary.
  • Contribute to the development of security documentation (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines, and procedures) under the supervision of the Cyber & Information Security Manager, as required.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in the ICT Security sector, including new or updated security solutions, enhanced security processes, and emerging threats.
  • Oversee the monitoring of SIEM, logs, and reports.
  • Assist in investigations and responses to security incidents.
  • Participate in the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits.
  • Provide assistance to the Service Desk for end-user security solutions.
  • Direct and evaluate the effectiveness of security awareness training programs.
  • Maintain operational configurations of all existing security solutions according to established standards.

Candidate Profile

  • At least 5 years of experience in ICT Infrastructure, with a minimum of 3 years in ICT Security.
  • A degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Fortinet Firewalls and other security technologies.
  • Strong grasp of computer networking and cloud technologies.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively to meet tight deadlines.
  • Capable of executing tasks in a high-pressure environment with strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct research on IT security issues and products as needed.
  • Highly self-motivated with exceptional attention to detail.
  • A collaborative team player with a strong focus on working within a team-oriented environment.
  • Fully aware of the organization's security objectives as defined by its policies and procedures, actively working to uphold those standards.
