We are seeking a motivated and experienced nurse leader to join our team as the Nurse Unit Manager for the Pain Management Unit. In this pivotal role, you will lead a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centred care within a specialised service.
Your clinical expertise and leadership skills will be central to coordinating clinic and procedural activities, working closely with the medical head of unit to ensure smooth operations and optimal outcomes. You will manage nursing staff, foster effective multidisciplinary collaboration, and ensure care is delivered to the highest professional standards.

Responsibilities
- Lead a team of nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care
- Develop and implement effective care plans and strategies to improve patient outcomes
- Foster collaborative relationships with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports to support quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in education and training programs to stay up-to-date on best practices and evidence-based care
Requirements
- Registered Nurse with current practising certificate and 5+ years' relevant experience
- Proven leadership and management skills, with ability to motivate and empower team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals
- Able to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Knowledgeable in relevant legislation, standards, and contemporary nursing practices
