In this role, you will report to our approachable and cooperative Lead Dispensary Pharmacist, assisting in a dynamic pharmacy team. The department operates in a fast-paced environment, with a dedicated team of 10 staff members on each shift, contributing to a larger team of 50 professionals.
As a pharmacy technician, you will collaborate closely with pharmacists, pharmacy assistants, and other technicians, as well as interact with patients and customers in our retail pharmacy.
This position requires availability to work across a rotating schedule, including weekends, with shifts lasting 7.5 hours between 7:30 AM and 8:30 PM.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or retail, with a keen interest in the healthcare sector.
- A proactive attitude and the ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced setting.
- Competence in general computer skills, including problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers and healthcare professionals.
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting is highly desirable.
