About the Opportunity

Epic Pharmacy is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services in a hospital setting. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in supporting quality use of medicines, delivering education to the multidisciplinary team, and providing medicines information to patients and carers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducting medication chart reviews and medication reconciliation
  • Dispensing and supplying medication and pharmacy products
  • Coordinating patient medication requirements for inpatient stays, day infusions, and discharge
  • Developing and maintaining professional relationships with key stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service to clients and patients
  • Supporting patients, carers, hospital staff, and associated employees
  • Educating and advising staff and customers on health promotion, disease prevention, drug selection, and the quality use of medicines

About You

We are looking for a Registered Pharmacist with current AHPRA registration and a minimum of 1 year of experience as a Pharmacist in an Australian-based pharmacy. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is well-regarded, but not a requirement. We encourage Community Pharmacists looking to transition into the hospital space to apply for this position. Hands-on training will be provided.
