
Financial Leader for Cash Management

We are seeking an experienced Financial Leader to oversee day-to-day cash management functions. Reporting to the CFO, you will ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, strong cash control, and effective stakeholder engagement.
The role will involve daily cash monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to management. You will lead and mentor a team; ensure timely invoicing and collections, prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts and variance analysis. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting and ledger closures. Manage performance metrics including debtor days, dispute resolution, and bad debt write-offs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Daily cash monitoring and forecasting
- Cash flow reporting to management
- Leading and mentoring the team
- Timely invoicing and collections
- Cash flow forecast preparation
- Fundraising and accountancy
You will be responsible for driving system and process improvements in finance functions, ensuring compliance with audit requirements, and fostering internal and external stakeholder satisfaction.
We require a degree qualified professional with 5+ years experience in a similar role. Strong skills in treasury management, forecasting, and cashflow reporting are essential. Proven leadership experience with small finance teams is also required.
You should have excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. A strong understanding of AR best practices and credit control is necessary. Familiarity with compliance, audit preparation, and continuous improvement initiatives is also required.
