We are seeking a Bookkeeper to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate and comprehensive records, ensuring timely and precise financial data is available to clients.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where you will have the autonomy to manage bookkeeping tasks and provide valuable insights to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage account payments and perform monthly account reconciliations
  • Regularly perform bank reconciliations and assist with Instalment Activity Statements (IAS) and Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Data entry and management, maintenance of computer-based administration file, and client files
  • Processing and lodging Superannuation and Payroll
  • Support and mentor junior bookkeeping staff

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3+ years in a similar role
  • Proficient in Xero
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to effectively engage with clients and foster strong relationships
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
  • Intermediate / advanced experience with Microsoft Office packages
