The role of Sustainability Manager plays a pivotal part in the success of our business.

Job Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned professional to take on the challenge of managing project sustainability plans, systems and delivery of best practice and innovative outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example and ensure that management team adheres to project sustainability performance standards.
  • Provide guidance consistent with sustainability management compliance obligations and strategies.
  • Foster a culture that encourages innovation and adoption of best practice sustainability initiatives.
  • Offer technical advice, coaching and mentoring to senior management personnel.
  • Contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives, targets, and reporting.
Requirements
  • Tertiary qualification in Sustainability, Architecture, Engineering or Science or post graduate qualification in Sustainability.
  • Understanding of relevant sustainability legislation and guidelines.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) managing sustainability within the infrastructure industry.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) including negotiation and influencing skills and the ability to establish effective working relationships with various people at different levels both internally and externally.
