Parts Coordinator

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Parts Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the storage and distribution of bus and truck parts at our depot.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage receipt and dispatch of new and/or repairable stock items for depots.
  • Conduct regular stock-takes and cyclic counts to maintain efficient stock levels based on depot trends.
  • Raise purchase orders as required, adhering to purchasing policies.
  • Liaise with internal and external suppliers regarding stock issues.
  • Maintain an overview of stock levels in depots, analysing trends for stock efficiency.
  • Identify obsolete and surplus stock, assisting the Fleet Manager with removal or sale.
  • Maintain accurate records of receipted and dispatched stock at depots to meet operational requirements.
  • Manage warranties for parts, replacing or recouping costs for depots as needed.
  • Pick-up and deliver parts to depots when required.
Requirements
  • Experience in warehousing, distribution, or logistics is preferred.
  • Background in parts supply and management is advantageous.
  • Hold a minimum full Car licence (Medium Rigid licence or higher is preferred).
  • Demonstrate strong computer literacy and administration skills, with ability to learn internal systems.
  • Showcase ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
