Electrical Engineer Opportunity

We are currently seeking a Senior Electrical & Controls Professional to join our team in designing and developing electrical systems for major mining and resources projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop electrical and control systems, commissioning them on-site.
  • Lead and Mentor colleagues in hands-on environments with a focus on controls engineering.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
  • A tertiary qualification in Electrical or Control Systems engineering is required.
  • The ideal candidate will have 5+ years' experience in industrial projects.
  • Strong PLC/SCADA skills, preferably Rockwell ControlLogix, GE Proficy desirable.
  • Exposure to electrical design across plant installations and expansions.
  • Experience in mining, minerals processing, or bulk materials handling environments.
  • CPEng accreditation or working towards it highly regarded.
Job Description:
  • Deliver engineering design and commissioning across electrical and control systems.
  • Prepare specifications, test plans, technical documentation, and user manuals.
  • Develop PLC/SCADA software and configure supporting systems.
  • Perform FAT, site commissioning, and provide ongoing technical support.
  • Liaise with clients throughout the project lifecycle and support proposals/estimations.
  • Supervise and mentor engineers while supporting project managers.
