About the Role

As a Personal Care Assistant, you will work closely with consumers to understand their needs and preferences. You will support them in achieving their goals by providing high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Listen to consumers and understand what is important to them.
  • Follow the care plan and work under the direction of a registered nurse.
  • Record consumer outcomes into the appropriate records.
  • Participate in continuous improvement cycles at the home.
  • Build relationships with families and other agencies/stakeholders.
  • Report workplace risks to management and consumer risks to management.

Requirements

  • Minimum Certificate III in Aged Care.
  • A customer-focused individual with a passion for working in Aged Care.
  • Excellent attention to detail, honesty, reliability, and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to maintain confidentiality and work collaboratively in a team.
