We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Personal Care Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide personalized care and support to residents, meeting their unique needs and preferences.
- Report incidents and changes in resident behavior to nursing staff, ensuring prompt attention and effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with relevant policies and procedures.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
To be successful in this role, you will require a Certificate III in Aged Care or equivalent qualification. Previous experience working in dementia-specific environments is highly desirable, although not essential. You must also hold current flu and COVID vaccination certificates and be available to work flexible shifts. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this position.
