Dynamic Leadership Opportunity

We are seeking a driven Educator to lead, support and manage our team of professionals.

About this role:

  • Assist in managing day-to-day operations in accordance with legislative requirements and policies.

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to our dedicated staff.

  • Inspire and motivate Educators to progress excellence in practice in partnership with the Leadership team.

  • Support Educators to assess each child's learning and development.

  • Support educators to critically reflect on each child's learning and development.

  • Develop clear goals for Educators regarding the efficiency of the educational program.

  • Ensure that the service complies with best practices, including curriculum development, staff professional development, and cooperating with families and the community.

  • Coordinate day-to-day operations.

  • Establish a balance between work and personal life.

  • Uphold consistent high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with children, families, educators, and all stakeholders.

About you:

  • Hold a Diploma in Children's Services or an Early Childhood Degree approved by ACECQA.

  • Must have 1 year experience as a Leader in an early childhood setting.

  • Current blue card, approved first aid, CPR, anaphylaxis, and asthma qualifications.

  • Sound understanding of the Early Years Learning Development Framework, National Quality Standards (NQS), and Quality Improvement Plan (QIP).

  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Showcase ability to lead and mentor a team of dedicated early childhood professionals.

  • Express willingness to facilitate and coordinate ongoing professional development training for educators.

  • Demonstrate ability to incorporate critical thinking and reflective practice into daily operations.
