Job Opportunity

We are currently seeking a senior underwriter to join our property underwriting team in Melbourne.

About the Role
  • Underwrite new business and renewals of varying complexity and volume, operating within established underwriting guidelines, authority levels, and service standards.
  • Collaborate closely with a team of underwriters, providing guidance, sharing expertise, and mentoring team members.
  • Develop and maintain strong broker relationships, applying technical knowledge to support business outcomes.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product offerings.
Key Responsibilities
  • Proven background in insurance industry and experience as an underwriter.
  • Working knowledge of underwriting in a property portfolio.
  • Strong customer and broker relationship skills.
  • Ability to negotiate and communicate effectively with brokers and stakeholders.
