We currently have an opening for a
**Property Underwriter** to join the Melbourne team to work on ISR property business, mainly focusing on renewals. It will be a role which suits an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for problem-solving, providing excellent service and to learning. **It will be your responsibility to**:

- Manage workflows (renewals, endorsements etc.) to ensure delivery of quality products and services.
- Manage relationships across a designated portfolio, with a focus on underwriting property insurances as per delegated authority limits.
- Ensure business offering is aligned with divisional objectives, portfolio balance and cycle management strategies (growth and profit).
- Maximise retention of assigned accounts and ensure timely review of renewal business in conjunction with internal stakeholders' requirements.
- Keep abreast of market conditions and trends and maintain a market presence in their region and Line of Business community within Allianz. Provide feedback to stakeholders and act to capitalise on business opportunities.

**Important to your success**:

- Experience in packaged, strata or ISR insurance, either from an underwriting or broking perspective, is required.
- A network in the brokerage community or experience in engaging with brokers would be expected.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of communicating with clarity, impact and influence.
- Ability to plan and prioritise effectively, organise tasks and manage competing resources and demands.
- Comprehensive understanding of relevant regulatory and/or legislative compliance requirements that impact the organisation.
- Ability to interpret and analyse complex information, extract meaningful insights and evaluate options for decision making.
