Job Title: Assistant In Nursing
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Assistant in Nursing to join our mental health team. As an AIN, you will provide high-quality patient care and support the nursing and multidisciplinary team under the direction of a Registered Nurse (RN).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to mental health patients within an acute care setting.
- Collect health care information, document, and communicate it back to the RN.
- Demonstrate patient-centered care across a range of acute and non-acute settings.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Currently enrolled in second or third year of a Bachelor of Nursing or a degree deemed appropriate.
- Completion of HLT33115 Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Assisting in Nursing Work in Acute Care) or Diploma of Nursing (HLT54121) with evidence of completion of Block 1.
- Experience or placement in acute mental health clinical settings as part of undergraduate nursing degree or AIN course.
Benefits:

- $26.15 - $28.69 per hour remuneration.
