Research and Development Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Research and Development Engineer to join our Data Analysis Team.

This role involves contributing to the research and development of structural health condition monitoring solutions for the railway industry.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Developing complex design solutions to address practical engineering challenges in structural health monitoring systems.
  • Applying industry design standards and practices across both hardware and software development.
  • Working with a variety of sensors, including accelerometers, acoustic sensors, and imaging systems.
  • Sustaining Monash IRT's state-of-the-art condition monitoring systems, ensuring continuous operation and accurate reporting to industry partners.
