About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Identity Engineer to join our team at Australia Post. As an Identity Engineer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and implementation of enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions and supporting tooling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions and supporting tooling.
  • Work closely with Australia Post Architecture to develop detailed designs and system specifications for solution implementation and future integration activities.
  • Mentor and coach junior technical and support resources, upskilling them in development practices and supporting them in their career development objectives.
  • Lead the enhancement of identity platform: Sail Point and the services it supports, including service management.
  • Provide technical consulting and leadership to both mature the function in BAU and deliver robust work products for projects that align to design standards, patterns, and identity strategy.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of identity engineering or identity solution consulting experience with domain knowledge.
  • Secondary technology experience with Azure is critical.
  • Delivery experience across Identity products, primarily Sail Point Identity IQ and supporting technologies.
  • Microsoft Entra, Cyber Ark, and Auth0 skills are highly desirable.
  • Experience in working in and managing supporting cloud technologies for the Identity solution.
  • Proven knowledge of version control and code management technologies (e.g., Git Lab).
  • Experience in development and maintenance of scripting languages.
  • Proficiency with workload management and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira) and methodologies.
