The role of Procurement Coordinator is a critical one in our organization, responsible for implementing and supporting the business's purchasing processes and controls.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to ensure strong vendor relationships and cost-effective agreements.
  • They will oversee the timely procurement of materials, services, and equipment, aligning with project delivery timelines.
  • Additionally, they will establish purchasing policies, performance metrics, and ensure compliance with all procurement standards.
  • Collaboration with construction, planning, and cost control teams is essential to synchronise procurement activities with project milestones.
  • Maintenance of an up-to-date Procurement Register and providing real-time reporting is also crucial.
  • Analysis of market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings and risk mitigation is another key responsibility.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • A strong understanding of procurement systems and processes.
  • Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to build and manage effective stakeholder relationships.
  • The capacity to develop and execute cost-saving strategies and process improvements.
  • Experience in construction procurement is highly regarded.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset are essential.
