Job Role Summary

This is a full-time position that involves maintaining the grounds of our local sites to a high standard. We are looking for an individual with previous experience in grounds maintenance across multiple sites, who can learn quickly and work independently.

  • Mowing and whipper snipping
  • Removal of graffiti

The ideal candidate will have physical fitness to travel throughout the North of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast, good communication skills, and a flexible approach. They must also be able to provide proof of immunity or vaccination to Q Fever.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Grounds Maintenance Worker to join our team. As a key member of our site operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring all sites are maintained to a high standard. This includes:

  • Maintaining lawns, gardens, and other outdoor areas
  • Removing graffiti and other forms of vandalism
Key Responsibilities

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  1. Mowing and whipper snipping to maintain lawn heights and densities
  2. Removal of graffiti and other forms of vandalism from buildings and infrastructure
  3. Ensuring all sites are maintained to a high standard, including cleaning and disposing of waste
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Previous experience in grounds maintenance across multiple sites
  • Able to learn quickly and work independently
  • Physical fitness to travel throughout the North of Brisbane and Sunshine Coast
  • Good communication skills with a flexible approach
  • Functional medical check including drug and alcohol test
  • Able to provide proof of immunity or vaccination to Q Fever
