Department Liaison Officer

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Department Liaison Officer to assist in ministerial offices for short-term temp assignments.

This role plays a vital part in facilitating communication and collaboration between various departments, stakeholders, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise and coordinate: Bridge the gap between different departments ensuring smooth communication and efficient coordination.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with internal and external stakeholders including government agencies, community groups and industry bodies.
  • Information Management: Maintain accurate records track correspondence and manage documentation related to departmental activities.
  • Event Support: Assist in organising departmental events meetings and workshops.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research on relevant topics providing insights to support decision-making processes.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as scheduling travel arrangements and expense management.
Requirements
  • Relevant Background: A background in government public administration or related fields is preferred.
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
