About the Role:

This is a site-based position on an 8/6 roster in Western Australia. The successful candidate will have significant experience with electrical systems commissioning and installation for mineral processing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate multi-disciplinary teams during commissioning activities, including sub-contractor teams.
  • Plan and schedule electrical work to meet project deadlines.
  • Ensure all vendor execution packages comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Liaise with design consultants, sub-contractors, and client operations teams.
  • Conduct inspections and quality checks on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Enforce safety protocols and promote a culture of safety on site.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering are desirable but not essential.
  • Electrical trades certifications and Electricians License or Electrical Contractor License are required.
  • EEHA Certification is also required.
  • Construction White Card is necessary.
  • The ideal candidate will have 10 - 15 years experience with site-based electrical systems commissioning and installation for mineral processing operations.
  • A solid track record managing and overseeing sub-contractors, package vendors, and consultants is required.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and State regulations is necessary.
  • A track record in maintaining a safety culture is essential.
