About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at AMIRI BUILDING ENGINEERING INC dba 120 DEGREEZ. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of our employees, contractors, and clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety plans and procedures to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement health and safety training programs.
  • Investigate incidents and near-miss events to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of health and safety performance, including incident reports and training records.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees and contractors on health and safety procedures and protocols.
  • Stay up-to-date with changing regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in occupational health and safety, with a strong background in engineering and construction.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective health and safety plans and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
