Signalling Field Test Lead Job Description

The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Signalling Field Test Lead to join our team in Perth. The successful candidate will be responsible for the execution of signalling integration and site acceptance tests.

This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to interface with various stakeholders to coordinate field testing activities. While this role is not FIFO, travel to site will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders to establish field programs of work
  • Define and maintain signalling field testing activities programs
  • Develop and manage resources, costs and scope of works for field testing
  • Coordinate with Installation Teams to ensure assets are ready before field testing activities
  • Communicate with external stakeholders to define access to external systems
  • Work closely with customers to define joint integration strategies
  • Manage contractors supporting testing activities
  • Plan workload considering rostering constraints and identify resource needs

About You

  • Proven experience in complex railway system integration projects
  • System interface and project delivery experience is highly desirable
  • Familiarity with test and commissioning of signalling moving block systems
  • Tertiary qualification in project management or a related field
  • Experience in the mining industry is advantageous
