About the Roles

We are seeking trade qualified Diesel Mechanics to join our Penny team, based approximately 150km south-east of Ramelius' Mt Magnet mining and processing operations in Western Australia. The role involves working on a 7 Shifts on 7 Shifts off FIFO roster from Perth WA.

The Edna May operation is located approximately 4 hours drive from Perth to Westonia, with a 14 shifts on and 7 shifts off or 14 shifts on 14 shifts off, Drive In Drive Out (DIDO) luxury bus provided, Accommodation and Messing supplied. Paid when travelling.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Servicing and maintaining Underground mobile plant and equipment such as Jumbo's, Boggers, Graders and Loaders
  2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting of mechanical faults
  3. Dismantle and assemble machine parts, and engines and replace worn-out parts
  4. Conduct routine inspections and schedule maintenance of plant equipment
  5. Perform routine lubrication of machine parts, tuning of the engine, and ensure the machines are working to site compliance
  6. Provide preventive and corrective maintenance as per maintenance plan
  7. Updating maintenance log books in line with company policies and procedures

Tickets and Licences Required:

  • ">
  • Certificate III or higher in Diesel Mechanic or Mobile Plant Technology
  • Strong knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence
  • Able to provide National Police Clearance (within 6 months of commencement)
  • Working Safely at Heights
  • Hold current Provide First Aid or ability to complete the course
