Job Opportunity: Heavy Diesel Fitter

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Heavy Diesel Fitter to join our team. As a Heavy Diesel Fitter, you will be responsible for maintaining and adhering to a safe work environment.

The ideal candidate will have relevant trade qualifications and experience working with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment. You should possess strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.

Key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining and adhering to a safe work environment.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on various mobile mechanical equipment.
  • Carrying out designated tasks as outlined by the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Performing inspections to ensure equipment meets safety and operational standards.
  • Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues to determine effective solutions.
  • Completing relevant documentation and reports accurately and in a timely manner.

To be successful in this role, you must also possess:

  • Relevant Trade Qualifications.
  • Experience with CAT, Komatsu, and Hitachi equipment.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to diagnose and repair various equipment.
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment medical screening.
  • Hold a WA HR License, White/Blue Card, Forklift Ticket.
  • Demonstrate strong diagnostic and communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
