Supportive Family Care Specialist

About this role:
As a Part-Time Family Therapist, you will be working with families where a child or children are at risk of being placed into out-of-home care due to concerns about their safety. Your primary objective will be to reduce the risk and provide support within the family home.
This is a part-time opportunity requiring 19 hours of work per week for a fixed term until March 31, 2026, based in Queanbeyan NSW within our Children, Youth and Families Program. You will report to a Family Therapist Supervisor.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A degree in Social Work or Psychology/Aboriginal Health Worker/Community Welfare Worker or Master of Counselling.
- Postgraduate training in relevant child, adolescent and family clinical practice, family therapy and systemic thinking would be highly valued.
- Clinical experience working with families and adolescents would be an advantage.

Requirements:
