Job Overview

The Senior Assurance Analyst is responsible for conducting timely audits, supporting various matters and projects, and overseeing assignments to ensure high-quality audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing audit engagement plans in accordance with the Audit manual.
  • Carrying out fieldwork according to the Audit manual, ensuring adequacy of workpaper documentation and appropriateness of performance tests.
  • Assessing findings for relevance and forming opinions, with ongoing communication with clients and stakeholders.
  • Presenting clear, logical, and precise information in reports according to the Audit manual.
  • Maintaining timely and clear communication with key client representatives to ensure assurance work proceeds as planned.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification.
  • CA/CPA qualification (or working towards completion).
  • Minimum three years recent work experience as an Auditor in a public practice firm.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of Accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with ability to assess risks for clients before decision making.
  • Excellent interpersonal and report writing skills.
