Majors Creek Festival Artist Opportunity

We are excited to offer a unique chance for creatives to be part of the Majors Creek Festival.

This opportunity includes entry for the entire festival, camping site, sales opportunity, online promotional content, and public program participation.

Artists are invited to propose an engaging experience during the festival, which may include workshops, street art performances, interactive drawing sessions, or installations.

  • Our team prioritizes the wellbeing of all contributors and adheres to a strict Code of Conduct and Workplace Health & Safety policies.

Recipients will receive an exclusive artist T-shirt and be expected to be a visible presence at the festival.

We will inform successful applicants of the outcome on Tuesday 15 October, and announce the result in our newsletter on Wednesday 16 October.

Key Details
  • Evaluations will begin on Wed 18 September and conclude on Sunday 13 October (midnight)
  • Monday 14 October: Submissions reviewed
  • Tuesday 15 October: Artists notified of the outcome
  • Wednesday 16 October: Outcome announced in our newsletter
  • Friday 8 – Sunday 10 November: Artist Attendance at the Majors Creek Festival
Helpful Information

The Majors Creek Festival is held on the Majors Creek Recreation ground in the beautiful village of Majors Creek.

  • The Queanbeyan-Palerang region is home to the Ngunnawal and Walbunja peoples.
  • Please pack accordingly and bring your own water as weather conditions can vary greatly.
  • No smoking or vaping is allowed on the grounds during the festival.
  • Animals are not permitted, except registered service animals.
