About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced deckhand to join our operations.

Our deckhands are customer-facing, involved in a variety of tasks ranging from vessel maintenance and operation to supporting hospitality-related activities to ensure high-quality customer service and experiences for all guests.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Collaborating with the Master and crew to prepare vessels for cruises, managing berthing, controlling mooring lines, and performing daily deck rounds while addressing engineering and maintenance needs.
  2. Delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring guest safety by assisting with mobility, following safety procedures from the Safety Management System (SMS), and conducting lookout duties.
  3. Performing daily cleaning and housekeeping, assisting with food and beverage service, and managing guest requests by communicating specific needs with office personnel.
  4. Maintaining logbooks, reporting safety or environmental concerns to the Vessel Master, managing guest complaints with the Cruise Director, and liaising with office managers on cruise-related matters.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about their work, deliver excellent customer service, and be willing to go above and beyond for our guests, determined to create unforgettable experiences.
