Our team of talented change-makers work in over 40 hubs across Australia, using the social model of therapy to empower individuals with disabilities.

This role offers a unique opportunity to join our team as a Developmental Educator, working closely with participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits.

You will be responsible for problem-solving challenges that prevent participants from living fulfilled lives, while championing the role of a social model practitioner.

Your expertise in developmental education will drive positive change for individuals with disabilities, and you will have the opportunity to grow your skills and expertise through continuous learning and professional development.

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor or Masters of Disability, and be eligible for Developmental Educators Australia Inc (DEAI) membership.

They will also be passionate about removing barriers using the social model of therapy, and be driven to see high impact outcomes in people's lives.

This is a full-time or part-time (4 days per week) role, offering a competitive salary package, flexible working options, and opportunities for growth and development.

  • Work alongside participants and their key supports to develop new skills and habits.
  • Champion the role of a social model practitioner by helping people overcome barriers that keep them from engaging with their local community and the wider world.
  • Use evidence-based practice and professional reasoning to recommend the most appropriate team of supports, therapy, duration, location, and timing.
