We are seeking a highly skilled Caregiving and Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care to children with complex health and disability needs. Your duties will include managing airway support, enteral nutrition, medication, catheterisation, seizures, and asthma per individualised health plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct nursing care and health support to children with complex health and disability needs.
  • Collaborate with health professionals, families, and agencies to develop comprehensive health plans.
  • Work effectively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal health outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:
  • A Registered or eligible nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
  • Demonstrated competence in the relevant area of nursing practice in accordance with the appropriate standards of practice.
  • Proven experience in working with clients with complex and/or invasive healthcare needs.
