Experienced Payroll Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our finance team as a Payroll Officer.

About the Role:

This role is responsible for managing payroll processes, including weekly payroll processing, reconciliation, and reporting. The successful candidate will also be responsible for maintaining employee records, providing administrative support, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end payroll processing, including weekly payroll for all employees
  • Payroll reconciliation and reporting requirements
  • Employee record maintenance, including changes in the payroll system
  • Provide adhoc admin support, including data entry and responding to inquiries
  • Backup support to Accountant as needed
  • Identify and implement opportunities for process improvement

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a payroll role with an automated payroll system
  • Strong administration and data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with ability to work individually and as part of a team
  • Reliability, professional skepticism, and ability to learn and adapt
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word
