Job Title: Content Producer - UK Overnight Shift
About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Content Producer to join our team on an overnight shift in the UK. As a Content Producer, you will be responsible for creating and publishing high-quality digital content that meets our editorial standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Create and publish engaging digital content, including news articles, social media posts, and other multimedia elements.
- Work closely with our California-based Overnight Editor to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Monitor major stories across various desks and update coverage accordingly.
- Maintain the website and app homepages to a high standard overnight.
- Promote overnight stories on social media.
- Be prepared to take on additional tasks during UK overnight hours, including covering major world events.
- Able to work quickly and calmly under pressure, managing multiple responsibilities during a shift.
- Immaculate attention to detail.
- Experience in writing and creating engaging digital content.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively across the world.
- Experience working for a major digital news publisher is desirable.
