">Job Description

The role of an Enterprise Master Data Lead is to ensure the integrity, consistency and governance of critical master data within our systems. This involves driving high quality standards and championing best practices in data lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of master data across domains including asset, equipment, vendor, and material records.
  • Define and implement data quality rules, validation logic, and exception handling routines to improve data trustworthiness and reduce manual rework.
  • Lead root cause analysis and remediation of master data issues in collaboration with IT, business units, and Digital teams.
  • Support the rollout and optimisation of data governance tools and frameworks, including metadata catalogues, data quality dashboards, and stewardship workflows.
  • Act as the enterprise subject matter expert (SME) for master data structure, processes, and integration with other enterprise systems.
Requirements:

This role requires a strong understanding of data governance principles and practices. The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Certification or formal training in SAP Master Data Management – highly desirable.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience managing and maintaining SAP master data in a complex, multi-domain environment.
  • Experience in supporting SAP implementations, upgrades, or system integration projects.
  • Additional certifications in Data Management or Data Quality – advantageous.
