About the Role

Champion strategic information management initiatives that empower secure, smart, and ethical data governance across the Department of Justice.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Foster collaboration to deliver expert advice and training, and develop policies, procedures, and systems informed by both historical context and future trends essential to ensure the implementation of compliant, efficient, and innovative digital solutions to data management challenges.
  • Develop preservation strategies for historical documents that chronicle the rich history of Western Australia, to exploring and implementing cutting-edge technologies that address the complexities of modern data management.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven experience in a data governance project environment, with the ability to prioritise tasks, meet project milestones, and effectively utilise electronic records management systems.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Australian citizenship or permanent resident status in Australia.
  • Ability to potentially lift boxes up to 16kg.
