Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Virtualization Engineer who can manage and optimize our container orchestration platform. As a seasoned administrator, you will deploy, configure, and maintain VMware and OpenShift clusters ensuring smooth operation and high availability of our applications. You will collaborate with the Engineering team and Operations teams to enhance our infrastructure and support continuous integration and delivery workflows.

  • Install, configure, and maintain VMware and OpenShift clusters on-premises.
  • Monitor cluster performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal operation.
  • Manage user access and permissions within the OpenShift environment.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate application deployment.
  • Work with development teams to optimize applications running on OpenShift.
  • Create and maintain documentation related to OpenShift configurations and procedures.
  • Stay updated with the latest OpenShift and Kubernetes features and best practices.
  • Collaborate with Security teams to implement best security practices for containerized applications.
  • Conversions from VMware to OpenShift.
  • Able to manage a VMware environment.
