About this role:

The Data Governance Analyst will contribute to the implementation of sustainable data governance across our business and maximise the value of strategic data platform investments.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting domain data stewards in their roles
  • Managing enterprise metadata and master data assets
  • Identifying and resolving data quality issues and implementing controls
  • Enhancing business data literacy through various initiatives
  • Leading and promoting data governance best practices within the organisation
  • Operational management of data governance controls through facilitation and collaboration across information stakeholders

About you and your skills:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of three years' experience in data governance roles
  • Experience in implementing metadata management software and solutions to support governance programs
  • Experience in data stewardship roles or supporting data stewards
  • Commercial acumen and business understanding
  • Strong written, verbal communication and facilitation skills
