At our organisation, we are seeking a visionary Data Governance & Stewardship Specialist to drive value by strengthening data governance and stewardship practices that enable trusted, consistent, and compliant use of data.

\

You will play a key role in enabling trusted, consistent, and accessible data across the organisation. You'll be responsible for curating and maintaining a centralised library of data assets, business metrics, and definitions - making it easier for teams to discover, understand, and use data with confidence.

Design and implement governance frameworks that define critical metrics, assign clear ownership, and embed accountability for data accuracy and usage. Develop and uphold data quality standards, championing processes that drive continuous improvement and ensure high levels of data integrity.

\

Coordinate responses to regulatory data requests, ensuring submissions are accurate, validated, and aligned with industry and internal standards. Help shape the data structures and governance models that support efficient regulatory reporting, while ensuring compliance with broader governance expectations.

Key Requirements\
  • \
  • A minimum of 5+ years' experience in a data-related role, such as pricing, performance, or data analysis within an insurance business.\
  • Proven ability to represent business interests in Data Management and Data Stewardship, aligning with compliance obligations.\
  • Experience working with senior leaders to implement controls and develop strategies for data retention.\
  • Strong communication skills, adept at collaborating and driving data-related strategies.\
