Strategic HR Partner Role

We are seeking an experienced professional to join our Australian HR team on a fixed-term contract based in Sydney. This dynamic role will involve collaborating with senior business leaders to establish HR plans and solutions to support strategic business initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have strong HR generalist skills, a passion for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB), and experience working in the environmental/sustainability space.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of key people initiatives, including annual salary and bonus reviews, performance management, and talent calibration.
  • Analyse employee engagement data, draw meaningful insights, and provide practical recommendations to leaders.
  • Partner with business leaders to identify, develop, and retain emerging talent.
  • Facilitate and deliver training to managers and employees as required.
  • Provide HR advice, coaching, and support to people managers and employees across a range of matters.
  • Lead and program manage the implementation of Reflect Reconciliation Action Plans.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of employment law and legal requirements.

You'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or business-related field.
  • Minimum 7+ years' hands-on Human Resources experience.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both in a team and independently.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and any HRIS.
