Equine Studies Lecturer Position

As a highly skilled Equine Studies Lecturer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering training to students and contributing to various college events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching horse care courses (Level 1 to Level 3), as well as providing riding and stable management tuition.

Additionally, they will contribute to college events such as the College Show, dressage competitions, educational visits, and Taster Days.

  • Riding and Stable Management Tuition: Provide high-quality riding and stable management tuition to students.
  • Teaching Horse Care Courses: Teach horse care courses at Levels 1-3, ensuring students gain a comprehensive understanding of equine management practices.
  • College Events Contribution: Contribute to various college events, enhancing the student experience and promoting the college's reputation.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: A Level 3 Diploma in Horse Management or equivalent qualification, alongside a teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed or equivalent).
  • Assessor Qualification: Possess an assessor qualification, enabling effective assessment and evaluation of student progress.
  • Relevant Experience: Bring relevant vocational experience in the Equine industry and working with young people to the role.
Working Hours

Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
