Senior Construction Lawyer

We are seeking an experienced Construction Lawyer to join our team in Western Australia. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing front-end and back-end matters in construction, infrastructure, and mining services.
The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of post-admission experience and a proven track record in preparing tender documents, reviewing contracts, drafting and negotiating various forms of contracts, and providing strategic advice on claims management and contract disputes.
You will have previous experience within either a mixed front-end and back-end construction team, a disputes team with experience in construction and infrastructure disputes, or a front-end construction or projects team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing tender documents and reviewing contracts for clients
- Drafting and negotiating various forms of contracts, including construct-only contracts, consultancy agreements, D&C contracts, ECI agreements, and services agreements
- Providing strategic advice on claims management and contract disputes
- Representing parties in arbitration proceedings and litigation in the Supreme Court of Western Australia, the District Court, and State Administrative Tribunal
