About the Role

The University of South Australia is seeking a highly skilled Data and Insights Analyst to join its Business Intelligence and Planning Unit. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and technical expertise in supporting the Unit's contributions to University-wide corporate performance reporting, data analytics, reviews, and improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities include contributing to the development and deployment of corporate performance reporting resources, business intelligence tools, market and competitor analysis, and environmental scanning. You will also support broader Business Intelligence and Planning activities and projects, as well as the deployment of Business Intelligence-related training resources.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Data and Insights Analyst who can demonstrate a strong understanding of business intelligence tools and techniques. You will have a proven track record of working with relational and non-relational databases, extracting, managing, and manipulating complex datasets, and presenting data insights to stakeholders.

You will be a strong communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills, able to create clear and concise analytical reports and presentations. You will also have the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
