Support Case Worker Role

We are seeking individuals to work in a dynamic environment, assisting clients who require accommodation and case management to end homelessness.

As a Support Case Worker, you will be responsible for providing practical support to clients, including client intake, exits, meal provisions, linking with support agencies, and routine tasks such as packing up resident belongings and assisting with cleaning as required.

You will also be responsible for responding to crisis situations in line with policies and procedures, recording all client interactions in a secure database, ensuring safety for clients by completing necessary assessments, and completing shift logs that present an accurate picture of connections/incidents and supports during each shift.

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold an Associate Diploma level qualification in Community Services or other appropriate qualifications/experience. You will also need to have experience working with clients from diverse backgrounds and levels of disadvantage, sound listening and engagement skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and other internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist clients in accessing community resources and services.
  • Respond to crisis situations in line with policies and procedures.

  • Complete shift logs that present an accurate picture of connections/incidents and supports during each shift.
