Event Operations Manager Job Description

This role involves overseeing the management of events at a hotel, ensuring they run smoothly and to a high standard. The successful candidate will have experience in event operations, preferably in a managerial position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Events Team: Oversee the events team, providing guidance and support to ensure successful event execution.
  • Guest Experience: Focus on delivering exceptional levels of guest service, ensuring every event exceeds expectations.
  • Operations Management: Manage event operations, including logistics, catering, and technical aspects.
  • Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, proposing innovative ideas to enhance services and improve guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in event operations, preferably in a managerial position.
  • Qualifications: Hold a full working right in Australia and be eligible to hold a current Approved Manager's Card.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of the hotel/leisure/service sector, exceptional communication and leadership skills, and ability to deliver profit and control costs.
